Dr. Carlos Guerrero, Medical Surgeon graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogota Colombia (1992). In his beginnings, he worked in the emergency department of important clinics in Bogotá, later traveling to the city of Buenos Aires - Argentina (1996) where he advanced his studies of specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology. Once he finishes his scholarship as a foreigner with excellent performance in the Hopital de Clínicas in the Chair of Traumatology, he completes the sub specialties of Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy and of Children's Orthopedics (2001).

He returns to Colombia, to continue his practice of Orthopedics, initially gained more experience in the area of ​​trauma where he perfects and designs surgical techniques in arthroscopic knee surgery.

He is a member of the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma (SCCOT), International Society of Arthroscopy and Orhopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), Colombian Shockwave Society (OCC). Latin American Society of Knee and Sports Surgery (SLAOT).

Sports Surgery: Advanced surgical techniques in Meniscal Lesions, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Patellofemoral Ligament, Ankle Ligament Rupture, Rotator Cuff Injury, enthesopathies, Achilles tendon injury, among others.

Shock waves: It is a treatment with great results for the treatment of pain. It is used in chronic articular and acute traumatic and sports injuries.

Virtual Evaluation:

1.- Internet contact with the patient coordinator, who asks the patient for a summary of the clinical history and relevant diagnostic images.
2.- The summary of the medical history is reviewed by the Medical Department. At that time it is known whether or not it is a candidate for treatments.
3.- All patients go to video conference with the doctor. If you are not candidates for treatment you can provide other recommendations
4.- If you are a candidate and the treatment is clear, you will return to the area of patient coordination to organize the logistics of the patient's trip. To schedule the treatment, the patient is asked to transfer 10% of the treatment value.

Total Time: It depends on the speed of the patient to complete the steps, but on average it is 8 days.
